EVALUATION This section provides information on the method(s) used to assess the intervention. Because the methods used to assess the interventions vary by type of intervention, the section is divided in to three distinct groups by type of intervention:
- Teaching and Learning, Educational Technology, Communication and Information Technology, and Development of Professional Skills
- Student Assessment
- Student Retention
- Teaching and Learning, Educational Technology, Communication and Information Technology, and Development of Professional Skills This section includes the various methods used to assess the efficacy these types of interventions. Some relevant third-order subcategory definitions are listed below.
- Student Assessment This section will include the various methods used to assess the efficacy of innovative forms of student assessment. Currently, there are too few studies on student assessment to develop a representative list. Consequently, the methods have been entered under Other.
- Student Retention This section provides information on the method(s) used to assess the efficacy of interventions related to student retention.
